Worked comparison
More packs does not always mean a lower unit price.
Compare two paper offers by the sheets you actually get. This is a synthetic example, not a live shop price or product endorsement.
Offer A · USD 6.00 total
12 packs × 200 sheets = 2,400 sheets
6.00 ÷ 2,400 = 0.0025 USD / sheet
Offer B · USD 7.20 total
18 packs × 150 sheets = 2,700 sheets
7.20 ÷ 2,700 = 0.002666… USD / sheet
Shown to four decimals: 0.0027 USD per sheet.
Choosing A costs 6.25% less per sheet.
The percentage uses B's unit price as the comparison base:
(B per sheet − A per sheet) ÷ B per sheet × 100 = 6.25%
Unit prices are ranked exactly. Display rounding does not decide the lowest offer or the percentage.
Use the same basis each time
For a weight example, USD 4.00 for 1 kg and USD 2.00 for 500 g are jointly lowest at USD 0.4000 per 100 g. PackRatio normalizes compatible quantities so different pack sizes can be compared.
Save a comparison and use Duplicate for the next shopping trip, changing the new offer's total price. The earlier saved comparison stays separate.
Compares entered quantities, not product quality. Absorbency, thickness, waste and your preferences can affect which product suits you.
