Help with PackRatio

Compare the whole offer.

Enter the final price for all packs, then the number of packs and the amount in each pack. PackRatio compares the price of the same unit of quantity.

Start a fair comparison

  1. Choose weight, volume or item count and one currency.
  2. Enter the final total price of the entire offer, not the price of a single pack.
  3. Enter packs × amount per pack for each of two to six offers.
  4. Check the total quantity, then compare and save.

Use the final cost you intend to compare. PackRatio does not fetch shop prices, convert currencies, apply coupon rules or add tax/shipping automatically.

Which unit should I use?

Weight uses g, kg, weight oz or lb. Volume uses mL, L or US fl oz. Weight ounces and fluid ounces are different. Imperial fluid ounces are not supported; use the metric quantity printed on the package. Item-count comparisons use either items or sheets throughout.

Prices appear per 100 g, 100 mL, item or sheet. Equal rounded displays can still represent different exact unit prices; the result calls out that hidden difference. A percentage describes the lower unit cost of choosing the lowest-priced offer, not a prediction of your spending or a quality comparison.

Edit, reuse and Undo

Edit opens a separate draft. The saved result stays unchanged until you confirm the comparison. Duplicate makes a new draft so you can change this week's price while keeping the earlier comparison.

Undo restores the most recent supported clear or deletion on the same screen, before another edit or leaving that screen. It is not a recovery system after the app closes. Read confirmation messages before replacing an unfinished draft or deleting a saved record with an editing draft.

Keep your own backup

Open Settings → Backup & data → Save backup file. Choose where Android saves the JSON file. Files are unencrypted and can contain all comparison inputs, including a draft; store them somewhere you trust.

Import & replace from JSON replaces current work after confirmation. It does not merge histories. A PackRatio backup must use the supported format and be no larger than 5 MiB. Privacy choices and theme are not imported. Uninstalling the app or losing your device can lose records without an exported backup.

Delete local work and manage privacy

In Settings → Backup & data → Delete all work records, review the count and confirm. Saved comparisons and the current draft are removed from this app. Existing exported files remain; theme and privacy choices are preserved. There is no app account to delete.

In Settings → Privacy & ad choices, manage available ad privacy options and optional usage analytics. Analytics starts off. Turning it off stops collection and resets local analytics data; it does not instantly erase data already sent to Google or turn off separate ad measurement. Read the privacy policy for data handling and request details.

Report a problem

Email cmoonjun11@gmail.com with the app version, Android version, what you expected and the steps that produced the problem. A made-up example is usually enough to explain a calculation issue. Do not send passwords, purchase receipts, payment details or a full backup unless you decide that a specific redacted example is necessary.

Core comparisons, history and backups work offline. Ads or Analytics being unavailable should not prevent a comparison. If a save or import fails, keep your existing records and input and report the message; avoid repeatedly clearing app data to troubleshoot.
